Tasting Notes

The nose shows both floral and fruity notes, particularly pineapple and banana, while the palate is medium-bodied, with more fruit and a round, delicate finish.

The Antinori family released their first wine under the Santa Cristina name in 1946. Since then Santa Cristina has been a by word for quality and value in Tuscany, now more so than ever since the creation of a dedicated winery in 2006. The range now consists of reds and rose’s from Tuscany and whites from Umbria, so the winery’s location in Cortona, southern Tuscany, is ideal.

This wine is produced from grapes from the Orvieto Classico appellation, which encompasses the area around the alluvial cliff on which the city of Orvieto is located.
