TASTING NOTES
A classic medium-bodied Margaux, showing good aromatic depth of cassis, blackberry and smoke, and a palate of charming freshness and succulence.
Margaux is a large zone, covering five villages, and its soils are very varied. Where once only the top châteaux fulfilled their potential, there is an energetic new generation going to great lengths to get the most out of their enviable terroir.

One of the best classified third growths in Médoc. It was in the eighteenth century that the Kirwan family, of Irish origin, became proprietors. After M. Kirwan’s death it became the property of the City of Bordeaux, and in 1925 it was acquired by the firm Schröder and Schyler.
