TASTING NOTES
Dense red colour, ripe cassis fruit on the nose with added floral finesse and complexity from evolution in bottle. Sleek and silky in the mouth, yet showing good concentration and ripeness.
Margaux is a large zone, covering five villages, and its soils are very varied. Where once only the top châteaux fulfilled their potential, there is an energetic new generation going to great lengths to get the most out of their enviable terroir.

Truly one of the best-loved and highest profile of Margaux crus bourgeois, Chateau d’Angludet was in a sorry state in 1961, when the Sichel family bought it and began extensive works to restore both chateau and vineyard to their original glory.
The thirty-two hectare vineyard averages twenty-five years old, and is well situated between classed growths Giscours and Brane-Cantenac.
