Christian Sauska is a Hungarian entrepreneur who, having forged a successful career in the USA, decided in 1999 to establish a winery in his homeland. In 2000 he converted a historic building in Tokaj, formerly known as the Citizen Casino, into a production facility and tasting room.

This was joined in 2006 by a new winery the other side of Hungary, in Villani. With red varieties grown in the latter region and white grapes in the former. The Vines are eleven to thirty-six years old.
