Tasting Notes: The wine is pale, clear, with a greenish iridescence and is very bright too. Mild on the palate at first, the wine then opens up to reveal itself as voluptuous and rounded, with a pleasant flavour that hints at the length and aftertaste to come.
Food: perfectly combines with appetizers, elaborated salads, fish, rice, foie, and goat cheeses

The Secastilla valley, nestling high in the foothills of the Pyrenees, is a hidden gem, with old Garnacha bush vines producing outstanding wines of exceptional intensity and character. Neglected for many years, it was rediscovered by chance by Viñas del Vero’s winemaker, amongst almond trees, olives and quince.
