Tasting Notes: Sweet, soft, ripe, rich, powerful and complex on the bouquet. The golden-yellow wood-mounted vin de liqueur offers a range of aromas. Caramelized apple, nuts, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, fig, date and chocolate –
full, delicate and mellow. Orange bark, fruit stone, gingerbread are evident on a bergamot finish.

This fifteenth-century Chateau is home to an artisan producer of Cognac and pineau des charentes. The pineau des Charentes is a local speciality in which year -old cognac is blended with freshly pressed grape juice.
Semillon and sauvignon for the White, cabernate and Merlot for Red. It is the matured for five or ten years in wood, giving a sweet, mellow, very fruity aperitif.
