Tasting Notes

Intense fresh fruit aromas with pleasant floral hints. Well-structured, generous and soft on the palate, with lingering fruit notes on the finish.

The grapes for Santa Cristina come from selected vineyards in central Tuscany. The Merlot harvest took place first followed by Syrah & Cabernet, with the first Sangiovese grapes being picked two to three weeks later

The Antinori family released their first wine under the Santa Cristina name in 1946. Since then Santa Cristina has been a byword for quality and value in Tuscany  now more so than ever since the creation of a dedicated winery in 2006.

The range now consists of reds and roses from Tuscany and whites from Umbria, so the wineries location in Cortona, southern Tuscany, is ideal.
