Chateau Labergorce has a long history in northern Margaux, the estate having already been owned by Gorce family for centuries by the time of the French Revolution. After that it was split into three and sold off.
The properties were reunited (though not in their entirety) by the late Hubert Perrodo, who bought Chateau Laergorce itself in 1989, and the other two chateaux in the early twenty-first century. His daughter Nathalie now manages the combined estate.
