Le Maestrelle, Santa Cristina Toscana, Italy. The Antinori family released their first wine under the Santa Cristina name in 1946. Since then Santa Cristina has been a byword for quality and value in Tuscany now more so than ever since the creation of a dedicated winery in 2006.

The range now consists of reds and rose from Tuscany and whites from Umbria, so the winery’s location in Cortona, southern Tuscany, is ideal. The three grape varieties were picked separately at optimum ripeness, beginning with the Merlot in the first ten days of September, and finishing with the Sangiovese mid-Octobe
