Tasting Notes : Amber, glints of warm gold., Markedly Folle Blanche, floral, touch of geranium, candied orange and broom.
Very fruity, angelica and raisin, perfectly balanced, round. Good character rarely found in a cognac of this age.
Delicious as a long drink with tonic water or simply on the rocks.

The Chateau was built by the Vinsons family in 1480 during the reign of King Louis XI. At the dawn of the renaissance period Beaulon? architectural style was still flamboyantly gothic. In the XVII century, the heir of Beaulon His Grace de Nesmond, bishop of Bayeux and Advisor to King Louis XIV placed the Chateau in the management of the Bishops of Bordeaux.
They were to have a determining influence on the vineyards. Distillation on light lees in small copper pot stills, bouilleur de cru.
Very long ageing in Limousin or Tronçais oak barrels, generally two to three times longer than legally required
