In 1951, at the age of eighteen, Georges Duboeuf began delivering wine to local restaurants on his bicycle. Since then he has become one of the most important and infuential wine producers in France. Often described as the king of beauxolais, Duboeuf is also its most tireless ambassador, though his range now e-tends far beyond that region.

Duboeuf still tastes hundreds of wines each day, and marshals his enormous production almost single handed. White Flower label beauxolais remains his empire’s most recognisable creation, one must remember he is a merchant as well as a winemakers, the company distributes numerous high quality domaine wines not only from beaujolais, but also white burgundies, Pins de Cays, and even a Côtes du Rhone.
